'Soviet Monolith' is a concept art exploration of monumentalism and power. Set against a harsh, wintry landscape, this piece depicts a colossal brutalist structure that dominates the horizon. I wanted to capture the sheer scale of this 'political cathedral,' where sharp architectural angles meet the soft, swirling snow and mist.

The composition centers on three towering statues and the iconic red star, illuminated by a warm, crimson glow that contrasts with the cold, blue desolation of the environment. This project was an exercise in using atmospheric perspective and cinematic lighting to evoke a sense of awe, nostalgia, and a slightly dystopian future. Built upon the aesthetics of Socialist Modernism, it’s a vision of a world where architecture is used as the ultimate statement of permanence. Hope you enjoy the mood!
